Fashion photography can happen anywhere, even here in Aspen. The hubs for fashion photography are in New York, Milan, Los Angeles, Paris. All of these places are where designers live and work. A fashion photographer can live and work anywhere. I recently traveled to L.A. and was the photographer for a fashion shoot.
