I have just stumbled on to a Lightroom tip and a new understanding for this thing called the golden ratio. The golden ratio is: 1.6180339887 It can be explained better here: Golden Ratio
I have also found two YouTube videos that are well worth the time to watch. The first one is about Natures Number. This video is very interesting especially if you take lots of landscape photos. Understanding how God works in nature and how to incorporate this into your photography can create visualy appealing images. Please watch it here:
The second video shows how some of the crop overlays apply to some of the most famous paintings ever.
Now for the Lightroom tip. In the crop tool you have the ability to use some of these different crop tools press the “O” key (not the Zero) To see different crop tool locations press the shift key while pressing the “O” key. For a full explanation please see this excellent blog:
