Why Hire a Professional Photographer?
Several people have asked me recently why they should hire a professional photographer. My short answer is that you can tap into their vision for what can be achieved. A professional can see the light and how to best take advantage of it to make an image stand out. The following photos are of the same person. One is a quick photo that just about anyone could take, and the second was taken during one of my portrait sessions. My skills and vision, along with a little time, can produce a truly superior image.
I like to create photos of people that I’m excited about. My clients are consistently excited about the results, too. I do not want to have photos out there that anyone could take with an iPhone and dress up slightly with an Instagram filter. I work hard to create photos of people that show a person at their best, taken with care and attention to the details, using the most becoming light possible, and that really show my passion in a way that’s visible to every viewer.
