We arrived in Bremen a little less than 24 hours ago. The jet-lag has been pretty brutal so far, but hopefully tomorrow we’ll be through the worst of that. It is beautiful here – late spring with lots of flowers blooming and birds singing. We are at the hospital for the pre-op testing and meetings this morning, but should have some time to explore this afternoon. The hospital was an old sanatorium for TB patients, and has lovely windows and grounds. Our current hotel is across the street and is very close. Mike will try to up load some pictures this afternoon and hopefully attach them to this post. Check back later and see.
